Star War has made it in the hearts of each and every people around the world. Hollywood has made a point to give us the best of the entertainment. This Star Wars Day lets see the amazing Star War movies with our near and dear ones.

Star Wars Day, May 4, celebrates Star Wars created by George Lucas. It is observed by fans of the movies. Observance of the holiday spread quickly through media and grassroots celebrations.

The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you" as "May the Fourth be with you". Even though the holiday was not actually created or declared by Lucasfilm, many Star Wars fans across the world have chosen to celebrate the holiday.

Here are some famous quotes from Star Wars:

1. I am a Jedi. I’m one with the Force, and the Force will guide me. – Ganodi

2. Women always figure out the truth. Always. -HAN SOLO

3. Now I know there is something strong than fear — far stronger. The Force. – Kanan Jarrus

The concept of Half Girlfriend means a one sided love. The upcoming movie Half Girlfriend tells a similar story about one sided love. The story is taken from Half Girlfriend book which is written by Chetan Bhagat.

“Tiny bumps in time shape our lives, even though we spend hours trying to make long-term plans.”
                                              ― Chetan Bhagat, Half Girlfriend

I would like to share a story similar to Half Girlfriend. Note: I will not be mentioning the name of the person instead I will be using other names.

Simran is now in her teens. She told me her story about 6 years ago when she was in her 6th grade she had a crush on her best friend. He was her first love. And we all know how first love is like a fairytale. Her first love was him. She use to write his name behind all her books like the kids nowadays do. She used to do all kinds of crazy things when a person is in love. All her girlfriends use to tease her by his name. But she kept it secret from him for a very long time. She told me that loving someone who doesn’t love you in return… is like trying to fly with a broken wing. Then one day during her 9th grade she gathered all her courage to let her best friend know that she loves him. So she went to him and confessed her feelings for him. But she got a reply she was not expecting to get. Her best friend told her that “Lets only be best friends, not more than that.” This made her very sad. He started ignoring her. He told her that she loves someone one else. She came to know the truth that her love was one sided for a very long time. One day she told me that, “It’s hard to wait around for something that you know might never happen. But it’s even harder to give up when you know it’s everything you want.” These words made it clear that she was very sad. So she told me that she is going to love someone who will love her back. She told me these words with a bright smile knowing she deserves someone better.

Half Girlfriend is a story somewhat similar to this.

“I am sharing a Half relationship story at BlogAdda in association with #HalfGirlfriend

There is a way you go for it,

Don't care whether its heaven or hell.

If its heaven its good for you,

But if its hell you make it heaven.

Heaven a place of God's soul,

Hell is a place of devil's rule.

Heaven a place where good thoughts go,

Hell a place where bad roads go.

You do good and go to heaven,

Otherwise hell is waiting for you.

In the midst of a city unknown,

A place far away from house,

She walked on those streets,

Planning on new dreams,

The resonance of streetlights,

Her dark brown eyes shone bright,

Everything known was now lone gone,

There she was in a city unknown,

Puzzled by the streets,

In solitude with her gleam,

In the midst of a city unknown,

A place far away from home.

You are walking on a road. Suddenly, you spot a young girl walking in the opposite directions. There is something different about this girl. Oh wait, she has a what?! Beard! The next thing you know is you are either laughing at her or making faces or passing comments.

This is what Harnaam goes through everyday single day of her life. Her life is inspirational on so many levels. She has broken the biggest beauty stereotype ever that woman should not have unwanted facial hair. She has let her beard and moustache grow and proudly rocks it.

Harnaam, from Slough, Berkshire, has polycystic ovary syndrome which causes the body to produce more male hormones, which can trigger the growth of excess body hair. PCOS is a common problem among teen girls and young women. In fact, almost 1 out of 10 women have PCOS. Many women have excessive facial hair growth. Cultural pressure leads most to remove it, as it may be viewed as a social stigma.

The 25-year-old girl who’s growing a beard, Harnaam says she feels more feminine than ever. Currently sporting a six-inch-long facial hair, Harnaam is spreading awareness about PCOS and telling the world how it feels to suffer from it.

Was it easy?

Absolutely not. At the tender age of 11, Harnaam’s facial hair started appearing. She spent her teenage years desperately trying to remove it by waxing TWICE a week and covering her body in baggy clothes.

Kaur tells The Guardian, “The wax went on, then the paper, then they pulled. I screamed so loudly the woman getting her hair done in the next door chair threw her magazine across the room. I was crying my eyes out. I did that every other day because my hair grew so fast – and shaved in between. They waxed it until my skin burned, going over the same patch again because some hairs were hard to get out. Then they would thread the raw skin, then pluck it.”

She was bullied and made fun of. This left her feeling so depressed that she considered ending her life until one day she had an epiphany. She shares “At the age of 16 I hit my biggest low. They called me a ‘man’, ‘a beast’, an ‘ogre’, or just ‘fat’. I had been suicidal all year due to immense bullying from school and people in society. As I sat there, I started to counsel myself. I told myself: 'The energy you are putting into ending your life, put all that energy into turning your life around and doing something better'.”

Finally Harnaam took the big step and let her beard grow. It wasn’t easy for her. She was hurled with abuses and was made fun of. But this didn’t shake her. She accepted herself the way she is and her self-confidence and self-esteem increased day by day.

She dismisses the idea that our sex organs should define us. “I don’t think I believe in gender. I want to know who said a vagina is for a woman and a penis is for a man, or pink is for a girl and blue is for a boy. I am sitting here with a vagina and boobs – and a big beautiful beard.”

'It makes me feel like a brave, confident woman who isn't afraid to break society's norms,' she shares. Far from hiding herself away, she now has a social media feed filled with new friends and pictures of her travels. She has been a part of various photo-shoots. Her wedding photo shoot shattered the internet as she gorgeously flaunted her floral beard.

Today, she works as a freelance body confidence and anti-bullying advocate, and suggests that society can “feel threatened by empowered, strong women. When she breaks a stereotype she has to be put in her place.”

Harnaam is a role model to thousands of girls out there especially teenagers going through Identity crisis. She teaches us all that if you accept yourself and all your flaws, nothing can bring you down. Nobody is perfect and everyone is unique.

We all need to learn so much from this amazing girl. Thank you Harnaam for being such an inspiration to the world.

Be like a Diamond,

Precious and rare.

Not like a Stone,

Found everywhere.

Be bright like a Sun,

Which is very round.

Not like the Mud,

Found on the ground.

Twinkle like a Star,

Bright in the sky.

Not like a Star-Fish,

In the water which lies.

You can also touch the Sky,

Without telling your Elders a Lie.

I am a girl

Sweet like a pearl

I am healthy,

And would love to be wealthy

I am like a cherry,

Who likes to be merry.

I am bold,

Tough like gold

I can fight,

With all my might.

I have the zeal,

To move quickly like a wheel.

I am smart,

Never to fall apart.

And so I am proud to be a girl,

Sweet like a pearl.
